School was a battle; they didn’t get me. I got kicked out and left with zero qualifications. But I knew I was better than that. I’d let myself down at the first hurdle.
So, I joined the army, which helped me overcome that feeling of failure. I found something I was good at. That I excelled in. Only to break my hip and get stuck in rehab ❌
Physically, my recovery was slow. And mentally, I was bullied in the place that was supposed to be healing me. I fell at the feet of the demons of depression and self-doubt. I've stood on the brink, where giving up seemed like the only option...
